Dubai: the largest number of housing units has been built since 2012
In the III quarter of 2016 it was built the largest number of new residential units since the IV quarter of 2012, reports portal Arabian Business based on JLL report.
In the last quarter 5400 units came in Dubai, approximately 63% of which were apartments. The pace of construction is dynamic and it’s going to be delivered another 11 000 units in the last quarter of this year, although according to the report from JLL some will be delivered with a delay.
The total office space has been delivered 51,000 square meters to the III quarter of 2016. Thus today proposal is 8.6 million square meters and another 152 thousand square meters will join them in the IV quarter. Business Bay is the main popular area with investors in the office spaces as well as this Silicon Oasis, Greens and TECOM.
The Report from JLL notes that the trend of sales offices have become smaller areas as buyers took a waiting stance due to the current economic situation in Dubai and in the world.
