Ruler of Dubai has approved new infrastructure projects
New projects directly related to the development of urban infrastructure in the areas adjacent to the exhibition town of Expo 2020, were approved by the Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum considered and approved projects designed to significantly improve urban infrastructure in the areas adjacent to the exhibition town of Expo 2020, priorities are about the construction of new roads and lines of Metro.
In endorsing the plans submitted, Ruler of Dubai ordered to immediately begin work to catch the beginning of the EXPO 2020 by October 2020.
Approved the construction of metro line called "Route 2020" will pass through densely populated areas and commercial area, including Discovery Gardens, Al Furjan, Jumeirah Golf Estates and Dubai Investment Park.
Also approved project to expand the road network, including the access road to the new Dubai airport, road Al Yalayis Road, the second road in the area of Gardens and University City Road.
