The stalled $1.9bn Living Legends project (Dubailand) gets on track for completion this year

Living Legends, a project of Saudi Developer Tanmiyat, which was stalled a couple of times followed by the property crash of 2008, is to deliver 150 villas in Q2 of 2015. The Living Legends includes homes, boutique hotel, shopping mall, clinics, schools and a 9-hole golf course.
The project was being halted more than once in the past but it was restarted in 2012. In a statement issued by Tanmiyat, the developer of Living Legends, it is to deliver parts of the project in coming quarter of 2015. The development spans 1.2 million square meters space near Dubai’s downtown area and comprises of a total of 12 apartment buildings, 500 villas and a retail space overlooking the golf course. The estimated cost of the project is $1.9 billion.
Delta Emirates Contracting Company LLC is the main contractor of the project and with more than 4,000 workers busy on the site every day, it is to make sure that the project is delivered to the investors on the promised time. The news sources have revealed that 80% of the units in Living Legends have already been sold. Tanmiyat Global is optimist about delivering the project with full transparency and on the scheduled time.
In a statement issued to news media, Tanmiyat Global’s CEO Mr Muhammed Bin Odah said that through the Living Legends project, the company intends to epitomise its mission of meeting investors’ expectations and move forward with visible progress depicting its future goals.
Tanmiyat Global sells now villas and apartments, also buyers can buy properties on the market.
